About Us

The Children's House Preschool is a ministry of Taft Avenue Community Church. Our staff is dedicated to stand as servants - warm, gentle, wise and caring - as Jesus himself is with us. The Children's House is designed to provide an enriched environment for children 6 weeks through 10 years of age. We offer a variety of programs to meet your needs. More information about this can be found on our Programs page. All areas of study and experiences are presented in a fun and developmentally appropriate way. The children are encouraged to discover and explore the environment provided. We offer a carefully designed enrichment program covering all major areas of early childhood. Through structured and non-structured activities, children are exposed to experiences that encourage "readiness", academically, physically, emotionally, socially and spiritually at each stage of growth. All of our staff are carefully chosen on the basis of proven academic excellence, experience, maturity and sensitivity to the individual needs of children. All staff members meet requirements of the state department of licensing.
